MSP Global Management

When deploying a large number of appliances across a wide range of customers it is important to have the ability to easily manage these appliances without a great deal of hassel or headache. The EdgeXOS platforms are designed to provide multiple methods of management and provide our MSP partners with the most flexible API's in the industry via our custom SNMP engine.

EdgeXOS Custom SNMP Engine (API)

Only the EdgeXOS appliance has a custom SNMP engine built-in to its core operating system which enables the ability access every aspect of the device for configuration and monitoring. Utilizing tools and our open API, customers can build custom applications and/or leverage existing SNMP management systems to take full control of their EdgeXOS appliances from a central management system.

XRoads Networks has developed a number of basic tools which our MSP partners can leverage and extend to create their own management systems with as much real-time reporting and monitoring they wish to build-in to the systems.

Custom SNMP Engine
The SNMP engine built-in to the EdgeXOS platforms enable our MSP partners to create simple SNMP queries and/or advance multi-query commands to completely configure an EdgeXOS appliance. The SNMP engine is protected by password and the ability to control which remote networks can perform reads or writes.

Open XOS API
The XRoads Operating System (XOS) comes complete with an API which allows our MSP partners to easily configure and monitor the appliances via a simple to use API. We have many partners which have written complex management systems based on our basic tools and other which have simply utilized our online tools to perform their management tasks.

All EdgeXOS platforms can be managed directly when remote access is enabled via a easy to use web-based or SSL-based interface.
